Conference Information  

The conference will be held at Hilton Hotel in College Station, the home of the George Bush Presidential Library and Texas A&M University, and hosted by the Vegetable & Fruit Improvement Center. There will be a planning conference of the Coordinated Agricultural Project (CAP) on Alliums, organized by Dr. Michael Havey of USDA-ARS/ University of Wisconsin. There will be a special session on onion Thrips and Iris Yellow Spot Virus. NARC participants are invited to prepare a five minute presentation and share their experiences on Thrips & the IYSV.

This conference will cover topics on production, physiology, crop storage, pest management, flavor, genetics, and breeding of all Allium crops. Please plan to attend this conference and encourage other researchers, students, industry people, and any related specialists to attend this valuable meeting.
